Being a graphic designer, web design is a huge part of our technology market. Every business should have a presence on the interent. It is how we find services we need today. We seldom refer to our phone book yellow pages. With this in mind, I think of you and your company. A website could be the very first thing a customer sees about your business. With that being the case, why shouldn't it reflect you and what you do and need?

This is where I come in to play. I have been creating and learning about websites for the past eight years. My skills and knowledge have significantly improved over those years. What I do for you is help create your image. By sharing ideas and inputs, we can come up with a website that suits you and your business.

The website services I offer are pretty simple. I can create a whole website from scratch, modify and update a existing website, purchase and modify a template found on the internet to fit your company's needs and much more. I will admit that I do NOT have experience with shopping carts or e-commerce sites. However, I will do my best to learn it for you, because it is a skill I will eventually acquire. I have experience with one content management system. The one I have used is Content Management System Made Simple.

I have been asked which software I use to generate my webpages. I want to claim none, its all in my head, but in reality I work directly with the source code. I previously used only Notepad, but in a class I was introduced to Adobe Dreamweaver. I use the code viewer from Dreamweaver. The reason is that it has color coding, an auto fill feature and a source formatting tool as well. The reason I work directly with the source code is simple to me. (A) I find it easier. But more importantly (B), it doesn't have extra any erraneous code. Dreamweaver has a tendencey to add redundant code and not need for web browser to interpret a website.
